About Me and the Blog

I consider myself a seasoned amateur photographer because I am not a pro. Photography is not my main source of living, in fact it is far from that. However, I'm serious and very passionate about it. I value my photography work a lot and although I don't have any awards to brag about I do have one publication to date, the Olympus Lensbook / 2014. Besides that I have sold a number of photos through Getty Images and to local newspapers in Vancouver.

This is a photography blog so you can expect 98.9% of my posts to be photography related. I post regularly on flickr but a blog or a site like this just presents a different format. Essays, opinions, rants, articles or a collection of images (not sets) are more suitable here. I don't do reviews although given the opportunity I don't mind trying out a camera or camera gear and offer my personal experience with using it.
