The M. Zuiko 25mm f1.8

Directionality

I was given the chance to try a brand new M. Zuiko 25mm f1.8 so of course I did not let the opportunity pass. It was no surprise the lens is great. It's like the M. Zuiko 45mm f1.8 except this one comes with a hood. The black version also didn't seem plasticky to me. Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to compare it with the silver version. I'd expect it would be similar to the 45mm f1.8. The biggest surprise to me is that the lens is made in Japan.

POTD: The way I see it

The way I see it

This is a representation of how I shoot these days. It contains most of the subjects that interest me recently: People, trees and architecture/geometry.

POTD: Cloud Power

All About Clouds

I saw this on my way home a few days ago and I of course had to document it. I only got the chance to process it today and I'm very happy to see the results. I had the Olympus E-P1 with me that day and the M. Zuiko 45mm f1.8 on it. The E-P1 still delivers!

Olympus Lensbook / 2014

I was waiting for it for a while now and I finally received this today. Production was in January 2014 but due to some delays it didn't ship until recently. Happy times!

The M. Zuiko 75mm f1.8

M. Zuiko 75mm f1.8
My Precious

I recently acquired the M. Zuiko 75mm f1.8 and I'm very glad I did. I've been longing for this lens for a while now because I could not afford it when it came out. I finally caved in and sold some of my lenses (this is one of the reasons why I sold my 12mm f2 and Pana-Leica 25mm F1.4) so I could fund the purchase of this great lens. Perhaps one if not the best MFT lens at the moment.

My last outing with the Pana-Leica 25mm F1.4

The Path

Some of you know I sold my Pana-Leica 25mm F1.4 and before I did I took it out for a much needed photo wander and my legs took me under and over the Cambie bridge. All photos in this post were made using the Leica DG Summilux 25mm F1.4 ASPH and the Olympus OM-D E-M5. Enjoy these monos!
